So here is ATG week 70. It's Trixie again, but this time it's even quicker and nastier. I still can't make my painting look any good. This was done in MyPaint in about 2 hours and it's possibly one of my worst works yet. No sketch, so I think that is why her hat is so, so, so, demented. No background either. I don't seem to be making any progress with the painting at all. I am so annoyed. Maybe I should give it a rest for a few weeks.Related content

I think this came out really good and I noticed you seem to not repeat mistakes. Trixie is a better shade of blue than the last painting of her and you don't have that tooth so that's something.

Haha, this was a bit of a rush and because it's painted I never know how the colours will turn out. I couldn't have coloured her like the last one, even if I tried, and the tooth would have been some effort too. The last one had like no shading so I should have been able to get that one right, atleast.

Not when I paint it like this. I only choose the base colour but then I add darks and lights so it might end up darker or lighter than I want. I never know.
