*sigh* I have such a hard time listening to my favorite artist now because her songs remind me of being in love. Took me 25 years to finally fall in love and 8 months later it was over. 
Sounds like a serious thing. That's what love kinda felt like to me; I was acting like I had never acted before. That's how I knew what it was. Sadly it was a long-distance relationship and just didn't work after a while. I can't just be friends with her, either because I still want her... even though I know it wouldn't be good for me. When I found out that a few months after we broke up she was already seeing someone new it tore me up inside. Cast aside, I am.

My good God... I had the EXACT same thing! 'cept I developed feelings and it really hurt seeing my 'friend with benefit' hit on other women and men (oh the joys of bisexuality) so I told him we'd just stay friends... and now I regret it. Poop. He still grabs my boobs and pinches me on the ass at illregular itervals though. So I mess his hair up to.

well Runee, love, that depends on how good of friends you are in the first place. =3 i was dating this guy i'd had a crush on for two years and he finally asked me out, but then he broke up with me. it hurt a lot at first, but then i realized we make *much* better just-friends than boyfriend/girlfriend. and i'm now going out with a wonderful guy whom i love so very much, *because* i realized that me and the first guy were better as friends... but i'm getting off topic. if you guys are really good friends, then go for it. ask him out! or at least corner him and ask him how he feels towards you, and whether or not you *are* just friends or if he would be more. sounds like you love him, but you gotta be asking him if he's willing to be yours since you're giving so much to him, or it simply isn't fair to you. don't wanna see you hurt, but would love to see you happeh. ^_^ best thing to do is ask him.
