A male Golden Eagle. So majestic and regal, easily my favourite bird.This is a rescue bird being looked after at the Cornish Birds Of Prey Centre, so he was a little scruffy (though in much better shape than when he arrived at the sanctuary), but still full of attitude and pride.
Canon 20D + 70-300.

Thanks for the credit, it's much appreciated. You've done a great job with the drawing. One small thing, it is rather light on my screen and a little hard to see. My screen is calibrated so tends to be more accurate than most, many peoples monitors are excessively bright, so I worry that your drawing won't be that visible to some people. Have you thought about applying some Levels adjustment in Photoshop to your drawing to bring out the contrast a little? I just tried this and it really makes your drawing come to life.

I didn't know about this problem of light and I will try to change it. I sadly don't have Photoshop, I usually modify my pictures when I scan them...

Definitely, I was completely fascinated by him. He did play very hard to get for a long time before finally agreeing to give me about 2-3 minutes of being very photogenic
