Hey Josh - It’s me. Cell finally works.

Yeah .. hitchin’s really bad out here… only 120 miles today.

Only if I get really lucky. I probably break down and ride the dog.

The worst so far..? That’d be today. I waited from about eight ’tip mid afternoon. Mostly local pickups… oh … and one of those really tall girls on a bike.

yeah - like the one in the ads, but brunette. Thin and real tall… ’just looked at me and kept on going. Too bad, ‘ would’ve been interesting.

‘don’t know. ‘seemed used to her. She must live around here. ‘dressed like an office worker, but I can’t imagine.

Finally, but he was a loon. Radio burned on one of those paranoid guns and jesus stations. Complained the whole time that Mexicans were stealing his social security check. ‘real happy to get out.

Maybe another day or two. Then I call it quits and grab the bus. Either way I’ve gotta get back by next Wednesday.
