The stains turn from red to blackBloody lines coagulate
Drop the blinds to shield my eyes
So bloodshot and burned by the light
In this darkness now
I burn my life away
In this world of sound
The music always plays
Instead of sinking the knife through layers of skin
Scratch every CD, my only friends
To these artists I can deeply relate
I join in their screams of angst and defeat
But like everyone else they don’t know who I am
The words they sing form invisible hands (reach out to them)
I’m a falling man with nowhere to grab
No one to hold
Nothing there to stop me
So the blood and music flow
The stains turn from red to black
Bloody lines coagulate
Drop the blinds to shield my eyes
So bloodshot and burned by the light
Faint streams from the source of life
Slip through my window and are lost in the black
Worthless energy left untapped
Devoured and slaughtered by encroaching shadow
A deathly black hole where light is swallowed
Like the barrel of a gun…
Only death emerges, reflecting the sun
A dark haven for the morally troubled
Their bubbles broken by those who have none
When the time arrives the weak are repelled
The stains turn from red to black
Bloody lines coagulate

The broken skin has dried
The sun has finally set
I wait for light to fill the sky
I need it to remind me I’m alive
Just so I don’t begin again

I know I know... I have plenty of ideas on things, just not good at giving the ideas out. the only way I could express the ideas would be myself making a poem/journal-story.

beautiful....lol that seems like it's such an inappropriate way to put it....seeing as how it's kind of dark and gloomy...but...idk...the way you worded it was awesome...and i like the bit of repetition...you're so good at...idk how to put it...at setting a scene and making the reader completely be able to relate to and get what you're saying....keep up the good work babe.....love ya...
