This is an entry for a RPG game Perfect World Tales of Mermaids' calender design contest...yes the Chinese version ofcourse LOL...The purple character is a new profession of a new race that just came out from the game in last year's December..It is the fish race that can trasform into mermaids and swim arround in water XD...the blond dude is his mermaid form~And this new profession is called Warlock if you translate it in a common way...

Somehow they both miss their noses... but perhaps that's just the 'species'
But apart that it's very nicely done. I love the way they seem to glow from within and also the writing spiraling around them.
