This is something my professor doubted I could pull off.
In my experience with working on another piece of jewelry, I find that silver solder percolates between thin wires when heated to melting point. The thin wires I used for to wire-wrap into trees are from a fallen and frayed cable I found while I was on a walk. I also harvested some bowl-shaped scraps of copper, with the bigger of the two here put to use as a background. I soldered the trees and the rocks (which I melted into beads from some of the leftover wires) onto the background and worked on the brass piece, which I soldered well to prevent breaking.
