Vale is seeing the possible future him if he chooses the true Chaos or true anarchy routes.
In my opinion, I think he should go for true neutral, good neutral, lawful neutral, or lawful good routes.
Those endings are usually much more satisfying, if playing SMT Is anything to go by.

Use the duality of man argument or the balance of light and darkness arguments ... those usually make dark halves shut up because they can't argue against a naturally established equilibrium.
All living things must have both good and evil in them, it's only natural. The same can be applied to light and darkness.
One cannot overshadow the other, or else that equilibrium will be disrupted. And it never ends well for anyone when balance is disturbed.
