Ah... done at last...
I made the sketches for this at home (I drew it and traced it like 6 times XD 
before scanning) any how the method of develpment is much like my tree picture -all the shading is done with graphite then color(adobe elements) I drew this after watching my sister play Fable. I decided to list fantasy because it isn't so noticibly anime.... (cough, cough)Tools: Mechanical pencil .5 mm, paper blender, adobe elements 4.0 (

the effects of the fire.. the cinders... the billowing flames... and ... it just has an eerie feeling of motion... however.. the picture itself... the colorign doesnt quite fit with the effects of the flames... but... face seems to be the onyl thing that really bothers me... tis almost too simplistic for the rest of the body.. the anatomy seems to be well produced... but then the face... seems... a little too... basic... no real feeling or personality in it... more or less.. it just kinda looks like lines, and as i can see in the rest of the pic, you can deffiantely add a little extra umpf...

Interesting. I like the overall idea of the piece.
The legsa re rather stumpy for the body, however, and the head is severly lacking in depth.
i love those fire effects, but they don't seem to go with the figure well. ?:/ It's a shame, because they're executed so very well.

wow, this is WAY better than anything i can draw.. i resiously with i could do that.. not to mention the fire, thats something ive never been able to get the hang of.
im not one to criticise, but the thing on his forehead is a little off center, but im not one to complain either, this is very well done.

I like the hand positions. You definately draw your pieces with really good proportions and nothing is drawn out of place, I really like the fire balls and how they are moving around the subject. Neat perpective too.

Though the fire effect is cool, I don't feel like it really goes with the rest of the pic. Something about the grain of the shadows that you did with graphite and the smoothness of the fire. Could you possibly find a brush that you could use over the fire that would imitate the graininess of the shadows? You should be able to find something of that nature in the brush category called "dry media"--that might work.
