Description i made this comic in very basic, really really awful German based off this story i made up in middle school.

i mean, it's evolved since middle school, but that doesn't mean i didn't come up with the concept/ characters back then.

Long story short: it's about a Palestinian man named Ozis-the son of a sephardic jewish woman-who goes up north to find his mother who disappeared many years prior.  while up in Europe, he finds his new mission to be to protect a retarded, feral woman, and is promptly perused by Nazi's as the woman he befriends turns out to be the escaped wife of the commandant of a neighboring concentration camp.

i probably wont make more art about it, although Ozis since middle school has been one of my favorite characters i ever made, yo.

hope u like

This is really interesting! Plus comic, so happy to see comics from you!

I don't have any characters that are still around from middle school (and even if I picked any of them up now they'd end up very different and would probably count for new characters anyway?) but the same themes keep resurfacing, I just get less awkward about handling them, man, I was a mess as a kid. I won't be surprised if you didn't have anyone to talk about this story back then, I remember how I felt when no kids my age wanted to talk about my stories (I didn't upload art online until freshman year of the uni but it's good DA and other art sites exist).

oh yeah i still feel that way.  i never talk about my stories outside of DA because i think no one is interested/i'm embarrassed about it.  i might share this one with DA, but most likely not because it's hard to draw.

I found that... simply showing my sketchbook to people I want to talk with works? There's this awkward moment of "oh god now they think I'm some weird creep" every time but I notice usually people that are actually good friends end up just talking about it and the awkwardness disappears after a while. I try not to judge people based on how they react to my art but it does help to decide if I want to be open with them.
