Sorry for the late response, I'm not on dA quite so much lately. I have my moments of absence here sometimes, I suppose.
I'll be sure to check out those other pics. As for suggestions, I'm unsure.
You could do it where certain character are just wearing hats that resemble other characters which seems to make them have that trait. For example, Samus would have a Yoshi hat on or something and would be doing that weird jump Yoshi does with her tongue shooting out or something. To add quirkiness, you could make it so that it's as if these hats control them or something, so the pictures can be in this still (quirky, creepy and awesome) and their eyes look a bit crazy or something.
Not much for suggestions to be honest, but hopefully you come up some other awesome stuff soon.

the metroid is so detailed, and I love how it looks in the rough coloring style. I really like the lighting too, and kirby just makes me lol.

Heh heh, interesting scenario. Brawl definitely gives plenty of humorous drawing material to work with. My dad freaks out any time that breaks loose in the middle of a match.
Seems to me like Kirby will most definitely be staying away from Metroids in the near future, well, that is if he lives through THAT one.
