Thanks, I have been looking for this kind of foam for ages but I never knew the name!

Sintra's actually a plastic. In terms of building techniques though, it is very similar to EVA foam (what I used for my Shepard and COG suits). You can get sintra at plastic supply shops, and EVA foam (in floor mat form) just about anywhere.
