I'm not sure what it says about me that there is this great sculpt and I'm so focused on the boot laces and blouse ruffles but boy do those look great. Anytime I do laces I have to use wire or prolene suture material so I am amazed someone could pull this off. I have so very much to learn. . .

Yes , I tried to use many different wires and stuff to make the laces . No good .
They are not flexible enough to be used in small scales .
Best media is still clay . Roll out thin strips , place them , cut them , adapt them and texturize them .

I will try this, God help me! I wish you were selling these, especially with the shorter haircut it is a marvelously attractive piece.

How do you make this laces Roberto?
Are clay,or something like fine ropes?

It was new for me too. I tried real rope ,sewing stuff, but at that size, small , scale 1/7, it did not look good.
So I made thin rolls of clay and laboriously put them in place.
After that imprinted some texture and cured with heat gun.

Wow,then making the laces with clay,I think this have a lots of laborious work.In my new sculpture,I have problems to decide to put laces made by clay or real ropes,but I decide to do not put to much laces.I eliminate practically all on the design.The girl I still making have a mini corset.I will upload some pics soon.
