Good episode and what i love about this show besides relatable characters and good writing, it's the human X nonhuman race romances on this show even anthros romancing other anthros. I'm a fan of interspecies/outside race (outside the human race) romance in fiction and supporter for 30 years for a long time since i saw Mighty Mouse the All New Adventure's episode Littlest Tramp (human marrying lovely blonde anthro mouse woman and even kissed her), Beauty and the Beast the series with Ron Perlman/Linda Hamilton, Star Trek TNG, Animalympics and Splash (human male X mermaid) and seen plenty of different ones in media even X-Men's Beauty and the beast episode where Beast is a cat-like furry humanoid mutant man who has an affair with a normal human woman to Eliza and Goliath on Gargoyles to Cathy and Matt in the Alien Nation series to many more.
But nice to see human X nonhuman person romance is now accepted in this day and age's mainstream thanks to Doctor Who's Vastra and Jenny, Regular Show (Mordecai with CJ plus Margot's parents a human male X anthro bird woman to Margot dating human guys), Superjail (human man married lovely anthro blonde alligator beauty and produced kids with her), Wolf Children's Hana and the WOlf Man (the parents of the title characters), Voltron (a guy named Hunk with a nonhuman looking alien woman) and this show, they should keep it up and show love isn't by the surface or how they look but who they are. Yet Kyle and Charolette are my fave couple on the show, i mean sure Diane/Mr Peanutbutter are a great couple but there's far too many human women with nonhuman males in pop culture (i have nothing against that as i support it) but i tend to like the human male X nonhuman female (anthro or Xeno as in alien person from another planet or magical creature folk or mutant) more/better as it's more relatable to me like say Hattonslayden's artworks to Superjail and Frank Smith on Regular Show to Voltron reboot with the guy named Hunk with his alien girlfriend which are quite fresh. Bravo, keep this up animators/makers to show love isn't by the surface (race/appearance) but who you are as an invividual.
Afterall anthros, Xenos (alien folks), mutants (even X-Men's) and magical creature folk (ala mermaids or gargoyles etc.) do not always represent the "inferior" beings that the mainstream media would sometime portray as i agree with one of my artist friends on this and that they represent "people who look different" which he is right.
