I'm remind of my "Intro To Woodshop"class. When it came time to introduce the class to the table saw, the teacher immediately panicked when he learned that I was a lefty[ the only one in the class, apparently...], as the safety guard was set for right-handers to operate the saw, only. He was especially worried about this because it was the most dangerous saw in the shop, having injured 3 students last term, one of which was rushed to the hospital with a severed finger. When it came time for me to use the table saw myself, he begged and pleated for me to either try my right hand[ which I'm clumsy with] or just have him do it instead. I do it on my own, with my left hand, and would up making an effortlessly perfect cut. I used all my resolve not to laugh.

YAHHHH!!! Minority!
I actually shot a poorly-designed gun left-handed that almost exploded. It would've sent bits of the shell and barrel right into my face and hot pieces all over my hand/arm, something that would've been less of a problem for a right-hander.

I guess that's one of the issues of firing guns, I have seen things go wrong for both left and right handed people. I chose scissors as its a bit more comical, i mean who the hell kills themselves with scissors by using the wrong handed ones lol.

In a hurry trying to rush something and they won't cut so you apply too much force. This happens often, you shove the scissors up too high or downwards too low and end up stabbing yourself.

No. 90% of weapons are right-handed only, and 5% of the rest require specialized parts (often hundreds of dollars) to exchange it. On handguns, it's difficult because the magazine release button sits by the thumb, but since I'm south-pawed, I have nothing to press it with. Some safeties are actually geared for that thumb as well or based on the assumption your hand grip will wrap around the weapon from the right side. It wouldn't be so bad if I didn't have hands that were so small. For rifles and shotguns, the ejection port is on the right side, so you often have hot shell casings flying in your face or snagging your arm. Muzzle-loaders are even worse because the explosion that ignites the gunpowder occurs on the outside of the gun as well as the inside, and the burning residue and a portion of that small explosion is burning your right arm if you aren't holding it properly.

I also cook foods using egg spatulas designed to stir and serve with the right hand. I could never get it either because I always told my family, "This doesn't work very well," to which was replied, "What? It's the best one!"
