I actually thought it was a Wondy redesign from the thumb, so it wasn't too unsuccessful

Wow, these designs (including the others you've posted) are phenomenal! It's unfortunate that the game had its plug pulled, it would have been really interesting to see some of these designs translated into 3D.

There are a few more designs that were done in 3D which I'll be posting at some point.

What the hell kind of game could have featured so many different styles of women?
And more importantly, WHY AM I NOT ABLE TO PLAY IT?

I wanted to play it too! The studio doing the weapons came up with some incredible stuff.

Do you know if it was supposed to be an RPG? Fighting game? FPS? Strip Poker game?

What kind of a game was this? There's like everything here. Was it like Saints Row 3?

it had a smidgen of sr3, but the actual premise and how it all fits together I'm reluctant to reveal for now.

you can dress a base character in so many outfits. its perspective that makes your work stand out. it's seems like your not trying to do your best.... its my opinion i could be wrong

It's character design - the kind of thing that's supposed to be used as reference. In such work, one doesn't necessarily strive for dynamism or unique perspective, one strives for clarity, so that other people working on the project can look at the design and see how it is constructed. Sure, you probably wouldn't use one of these design pics as a poster in a magazine, but then again, that's not what they're for.

Exactly! In character design (or any concept art related work) it's about getting the details to convey an idea as quickly as possible. These ones were still apart of the exploratory stage. The characters that were picked, I did do more polish on them, as you do want a nice image that helps inspire and direct the modelers when it's handed to them. I'll be posting some of the more polished ones soon.

I dunno, I was thinking a Wonder Woman inspired hero when I first looked.
