Get a pair! I learned by regret. My Ibanez Explorer slipped from its strap and the drop damaged it badly. Straplocks feel great BTW. They rotate 360 so the strap never knots up. They are quick release with a pull button. They will not come off. You can throw heavy guitars around with confidence. Just make sure the body connector is screwed tight and you'll love them. Even moderate damage to you beloved Gibson with cost plenty to fix. - Keep playing.

Cheers. Love the studio - without those neck bindings and skinny frets it looks liberated.  It's a heavy guitar. I hope you have straplocks!

Everytime I'm in the music store I stare at the straplocks and keep saying to myself I'll get them next time. Really have to get them though, anything happened to my guitar I'd probably hire someone to beat me up for being stupid

Get them. I learned by regret. I damaged my Ibanez Explorer which went on to become a collectors' desirable item (prior to the re-release).
