wow, the colors and lighting upon the rocks...well, it rocks. Plus I like the touch of the moon (on purpose?)
nice work

nice digital painting. did you ever think of adding textures to make it look less digital, like canvas noise, or noise in general. or wood textures ect?

I don't know, I always do. but I'm not sure if it's that great. I mean. there is something to be said for letting the medium your using remain someone unpolished, or at least leave it to it's own devices.
what I mean is. a watercolor looks pretty great when you let the water pool, or drip, with exceptions of course, but at least leaving parts of a peice "unfinished" can be very effective, and lend well to expression. I'm just not sure how well that works with digital art.
I guess it's something I'd like more opinions on.

you bring up some pretty interesting points- n_n
my opinion on textures is "use in moderation" the way i see it, is that if i wanted something to appear traditional i might as well as used a canvas to actually paint upon- but sometimes i do like the effect that textures can produce- i guess it's just an "in the mood" sort of thing. for me at least XD

i think landscapes are eaiser because you don't have to worry about proportion and stuff.... skin tones are a pain in the butt!
