it meanst "celestial" in hindu.i didn't study hindu and they probably don't wear things like this but i like to make things up! XD i'm trying to get back into coloring- this is my second attempt at this particular picture. took me a few days off and on (i used photoshop and painter)
the sparkles were a brush i found a long time ago that i have long since lost the link too- if anyone recongizes them- please leme know

It looks like her soul is leaving her body.
Like she's meditating and her body floats up in the clouds, like in the movies.
Nah, a little darker than that, but still a funny thought. Great picture! Espessially the veil and contrast of the lighting.

you make things up very awsome, I like the colour palette and the atmosphere as well not to mention the expressivity, you can almost feel her soul floating in his way to divinity...

OMG...this has got to be the best piece i've seen you do ever. The sparkles...the shading...it's so prettyful i can't even think straight. It's definatly gonna be a fav of mine. ^_^

Hey you finished it. I didnβt get the chance to see you finish, because I was watching TV and sleeping. So I'll just speak my peace here. The UFO beam and the sparkles are awesome. I'll have to see that brush because it looks cool. Two things I don't like about this are the mouth and the shadows under the neck. The two shadows under the neck would be joined together if she were in a veil instead they flow with the neck instead of over the face; gives the illusion that she was shrink-wrapped. I would have either made the shadow larger, formed with the chin, or not at all. The other would be the mouth. Eyes arenβt the only thing that show emotion, the lips as well. In my pictures I do shy away from mouth expression because theyβre mainly poses. But here she has a slight smile, not saying itβs un-cool to be happy but it make her looks like a stoner, βpretty light man.β All around you did an awesome job with the light as always and I can see a great improvement in your anatomy. On-top of those things your styleβs been more color reliant, I think your getting lazy with the drawing.

i was gonna take some paper and stuff to work tonite to practice drawing! :3 because i am getting lazier with it- i think it's because in my head i see the picture already finished and in color so i feel like spending heaps of time on the drawing is stepping backward if i can do it in color better- but i do think i could use some more work with it! i don't completely understand about the veil thing...you'll have to show me when you get home! and ...she does kinda look like a stoner doesn't she ROFL... i'll have to work on that.
