Figures? Well I did start out drawing a female figure doing a swimming pose. After which I added the rest of the details.

Again, VERY well done. I think this picture pretty much perfectly captures gali nuva, and I honestly can't see anything wrong with it, other than her mask doesn't look much like the action figure. That's it. The pose and action is great, the movement of the blades on her hands is obvious, the few bubbles you put on make it look just like an underwater picture. I love the cleanliness of the picture, it makes her look clean and shiny. There's no real obvious light source, but that doesn't take away from the picture at all. Just... overall, VERY good. I repeat what I said about the symbols though, they need to be more subtle. But just... amazing, man. I can obviously see the improvement between the toa mata and the toa nuva in your pictures.

Again, with the whole female thing, her mask didnt look very feminine at all. It looked kinda like... Tahu mixed with a storm trooper. So I curved things a bit, to make it seem like an actual face.

Yeah, see this Gali is better than your Mata version, mainly because she seems more 'fleshed' out. How do you flesh out a robot you ask? I don't know, I'm making this up as I go.
Like you said she does look feminine than her brothers, and so I give you a thumbs up. Crappy Mata Gali has become impressive Nuva Gali
