Hoo, where to start... this picture is amazing. The pose is fantastic, absolutely FULL of motion and personality. The symbol is a very nice touch, but could be more subtle. I think it would fit better if it was hand drawn as well, and colored in the same way as his eyes. His right foot doesn't look like it's quite attached to the board, which is okay, since I never saw that he had straps on his board. Otherwise... all I can think of his right shoulder looks a little weird even though it's obviously the correct positioning. This picture is amazing, probably my very favorite of yours. It's clean, detailed, and got an amazing pose that makes me not want to take my eyes off. VERY well done, I applaud you. :3 Oh, I also like how you added motion lines to the back blade of the board. Very nice touch. The flames/lava looks great too. Adds to the motion.

The actual "board" on the toy was weird, his foot wasn't just attached to it, it was a PART of it. So I had to invent a way around that, hence, the wierd pipe comeing from one hilt of the sword to the other.

They're pen. Just pen and a little MS paint on the eyes to color them in.

I'm guessing you love putting in as much mechanical detail as possible. Do you just whip these Toa up on first try, or do you design them before you get these results?

I usually try to get it right the first time. If I dont, I just stop drawing that picture, crumble it up, and toss it.
