I had a workshop with her(A.B.). She is one of that people, who influenced my life the most. Her "Rubenesque"'s shapes form her movings into a beuty. Thans to them she moves as waves, so softly. I've seen the original photo. But when i'm looking on your devian , it reminds me her. Her art emotions, from life and performences. so you've captured her spirit too. congratulations. thxs for memoirs.

Gorgeous, as always! Although I don't think she's all that Rubenesque at all!! Well, maybe in the dance world- they do run a bit on the thin side. I don't know if you've ever read "Stardance" or any of the other books by Jeanne Robinson, but I imagine this is exactly what her star dancer would look like. She describes her as being too tall and too bulky to be accepted by the dance world, but as having such spirit and passion that once her body is put into the motion of dance, you can't pull your eyes off of her.
