“Yay, Nile!” I cheered as the representative of the Asian team stared down at his bey Storm Serpent, which lay un-moving in front of his feet. I leaped off the railing, ignoring Kyoya’s warning to keep my cool. I jumped onto Nile and the entire crowd cooed as I nuzzled against his chest. I made a low purring sound, and Nile just simply patted my head and stood up, clearly blind to my affection. Kyoya, Benkei, and Demure seemed to notice it, though. How odd. Nile walked up to Kyoya and fist-bumped him before Kyoya took center stage. Benkei cheered him on as he walked through the runway to the edge of the bey-stadium. I simply huffed and leaned against the railing, uninterested in Kyoya’s battle. It was finshed rather quickly, but I never noticed, because the entire time, Nile watched Kyoya with approval in his brownish eyes. Why didn’t I get that attention? I wondered. How come Kyoya is more special than me?

I dropped my face into my pillow, sad. Why did Kyoya get all the approval from Nile? It wasn’t fair! I grabbed my pillow and threw it against my bedroom door. I had clearly reached my boiling point, and wanted to confront Nile about it. But before I even had the chance to exit my bedroom, there was Kyoya in the doorway, an angry face on. Here goes hell.

“What’s so special about you, huh?!” I shouted at Kyoya. I grabbed his shirt collar and flung him against my __wc__ wall. “_-__fn__..” Kyoya whispered painfully as I approached him. I threw my booted foot at his gut, causing him to throw up blood. “GO TO HELL!” I shrieked to him. At that moment, a pair of arms wrapped around my neck and dragged me away from Kyoya. “Let me go, idiot!” I yelled and looked to my left. It was Demure who was holding me back. He looked sorry. I was about to ask him why he looked like such a wimp, when a sudden stinging sensation filled through my neck. I collapsed and blacked out.

I growled as a pair of fingers ran through my hair. I batted it away ferociously. “What was with her?” Kyoya asked. “She must have been jealous; by the way she asked you why you’re so special.” Demure answered. “How am I special?” Kyoya asked. Stupid boy. I flew up from the spot I was layed down at. “How do you think? You stole Nile from me!” I yelled and raced towards Kyoya. This time it was Benkei who caught me. “Let go, you over-weight freak!” I shouted at him. Benkei let go and stumbled back, shocked. I whirled around, ready to attack again, but Nile was in front of Kyoya. “Get..out of my way.” I growled at Nile. He never wavered. “You don’t have the courage to attack you, do you?” Nile said, more than just asking. He was right, I didn’t. I fell to my knees and cried. Nile knelt down in front of me, a hand placed firmly on my shoulder. “Why do you hate Kyoya?” Nile asked me. “Because, Nile, I love you. But Kyoya keeps taking you from me.” “___fn___..” Kyoya started, taking a few cautious paces to me. “Why did you keep this from me?” Nile asked. “I was afraid you wouldn’t feel the same..” I replied bluntly, my head hanging. “Oh, ___fn___..” Nile whispered, wrapping me in a hug. “Why was I so distant from you?” Nile murmured. Demure seemed to get the message, as his hearing was terrific, and nudged the others out of the room, including himself. Nile kissed my forehead gently, making me give a really small smile. “Didn’t you know I loved you?” Nile asked. “N-No..” I answered. “Well, guess what? I do.” Nile hugged me again. This time, I smiled non-hesitantly.
