would love it if Obari did a remake of Mazinger that actually wouldn't be cockblocked, maybe even recycle some of his old Dai-Mazinger designs but I've already noted that. (I mean if Yashuro Imagawa had made a Mazinger Z series that didn't get fucked by Toei then maybe it's possible for Obari to do that)

Also did you know Obari's first job in the industru was animating one of the scenes in the Transformers 3-part pilot with OP transformin which presumably was the one part where Primes arms and limbs looked really puffy. Given that's how Obari usually draws his mecha's, I am pretty certain that it was his one bit he did

Ah yeah,I read from tfwiki that Masami Obari was responsible for making the stcok footage for Optimus Prime's transformation. I didn't know that TF was the first time he was animating.
He could make his own remake.

Watch Mazinkaiser ep 7 and Dangaioh and maybe the opening 2 and 3 of Gundam age,he did those too.

Kouji and Ryoma would be pleased to see this. Obari should've animated Shin Getter but at least Studio OX animated helped out in the animation of Shin Getter!!

The same guys who made the Transformers Visualworks book which have these: [link] Studio OX also did mecha designs from this anime from what I've read and wow: [link] Strange thing is that Tetsujin 28-FX is gonna be released in the Super robot chogokin with Studio OX design left intact. Oh and they did Gunhed too. A manga soon to be made into a movie by Toho and Gunhed was a cliffnote to Godzilla vs Biollante where Gojira fights a computer (Metal gear anyone?)after the ending of Godzilla 1985.
Studio OX also did the Android Kikaider animes. Tough stuff,eh?

Funny thing about Shin Getter is that a studio called Studio OX who were known for these [link] (And yes,they had a book on these called Transformers Visualworks which is like the best Transformers art gallery book next to Transformers Generation deluxe 1984 - 1995 which also had their artwork.) also did the mecha designs for Tetsujin 28-FX,they did Shin Getter's design and animation as co-op which looks crystal clear as eff and even the Android Kikaider animes and some promo art for Toho's Gunhed,a cliffnote of Godzilla vs Biollante.
