haha ok not really "qian shou" (thousand hands)
it's (1000/4 +6) /2 -99 + 3 - 6 shou
actually i didnt plan to colour this...
it was just for practicing in drawing hands
(did a bad job at foreshortening of the left hand)
(i forgot to edit it actually hahahaa...had some change of plans in the middle of doing so had forgotten to edit that hand =___=")
oh my first time using painterIX
love the effects of the brushes
(most of the time spent on testing aorund XDD)
and the file size is so much smaller than photoshop's
lineart : pencil
colour : PainterIX + mouse
texture + final adjustments: photoshopCS3 + self-made textures

anyway, a very good practice for drawing hands.but still need alot of work lor...proportions look weird, some part are fat, some slim, makes them not very beautiful le.bcareful on ur lines oso, some lines looks gone coz of rubbingXD
face coloring is quite nice, but lower parts the blue u use made the artwork looks dirty lor~
but i really like the patterns on the site! looks like traditional brush haha...aiyah, u go kl get one tablet la muahhaha

Somehow, I think that you can improve on the hair... what I mean is the hair is not "covering" the head naturally.. but since you are focusing one practising hands.. then not bad~
