i like to make a blender animated Watchmen film as a chapter of the Blender DC Universe franchise. In the film, i like to give the watchmen a cooler, less intense and better plot than Zack Snyder's film and even make the watchmen eventually join the justice league

I saw the movie on ITF (The Grindhouse Channel) and felt dirtied by the violence, the swearing,.... the total lack of ethics. Long ago, a correspondent of mine warned me against the book.
A bunch of costumed,totally UNsuper-powered vigilantes and men of mystery -with the exception of the all-powerful Doctor Manhatten.
Tho I have super-heroes in my stable, this is not helping me to do them again after nearly 20 years of having downed pen.

He's right, this isn't "cute", the characters, modeled of the comic by Alan Moore, were reanimated them in anime fashion.

Suzuhopu, I had to wade through 12 pages of solid praise to even reach this page. I'm sure Ryusuke up there isn't losing sleep over one slightly negative comment.
Besides did I end it with "Begrudgingly I admit that it's very well drawn, I know I could do it". The guy/gal is a far more talented person than me, that's for sure, but this art style just doesn't suit Watchmen. At all. I like one or two mangas/animes (Monster FTW), and can't imagine their characters in a Western style. Transferring beloved characters into a style not meant for them is bound to get some bad reactions from fans of the original works.
I do try Anime and Manga, and went through perhaps 20 shows before finding one I like. It's not a matter of trolling/flaming, it's simply my opinion. If it contradicts yours, you can mark it whatever you wish.
But...saying that I should not judge all Anime styles by one picture is all well and good, very true. Then do not judge thousands of DA users as trolls and flamers because they disagree with your opinions and tastes.
Good picture? Yep.
Well drawn? Oh Hell yeah.
Watchmen? No, absolutely not. Ozymandias does not have the almost flat profile he is given here. Several characters (Silk Spectre, Comedian, Dr.Manhattan) look far too young.
Rorschach is the only element that is perhaps not drawn well, but I really can't speak on that because I can't draw this well anyway.
I suppose I should have just written, "I may not know art...but I know what I like and I don't like this."
My apologies to the easily offended, but politely disagreeing does not constitute trolling or flaming.

I totally agree with you. I'm much more harsh in my way of saying it but Watchmen is a WESTERN story, and it belongs to a WESTERN art style. Otherwise Alan Moore would have asked Dave Gibbons to draw it like that.
