Description
When Ryo is crowned King of Hyrule, one of the first things he does with his new authoritative power is promote Impa from Zelda's attendant to Zelda's personal adviser, make Eye become a royal adviser, but also as seen here, knight Link. His feats on his journeys more than prove him worthy. So here's a concept sketch of what his knight outfit may look like. It's fitted to his needs, as he has to be able to move really well so he can't be bogged down with armor, yet he now bares the Royal Family Crest and has some more protection.The sword he has there is the Gilded Sword from Majora's Mask.

Might depend on what game you're playing, but most of the time, no. He's often someone who really just gets caught up in the dilemma that's opposing Hyrule which is in turn opposing Zelda.

Well, Link was sent back sure, but time goes on. Link's back by means of living up to this point. That's why he has the Gilded Sword here and not the Master Sword.

Oh my God! This is so awesome!! I love Link's new knightly attire. It defently suits him well. 
The gilded sword looks awesome there. (For some odd reason, I found that was harder to get then the Fierce Diety's mask)

Actually, he does that constantly, still. That's why he's not in the first story at all, making a late appearance in the second story... Link's a world-wide hero, but he gets knighted by Ryo so when he's home, he has rather a high official authority there.
