i like the gradient effect for both, at first i thought it was drawn by pen, like the cheap Reynolds ball point pen i used to use more than a decade ago.

You're far too good you know, your style just needs some cleaning up and you'd be as popular as some of the other DA artists *coughs Lasaro coughs* and trust me she's not as half as good as you are.

You don't have to beg. I want to draw something for you... its just that I'm struggling to find the perfect scene that captures the awesomeness of your fic.... or maybe NaruSaku? I heard you are a great fan. XD
I think I really have a long way to go. I've realized, as far as DA goes, my main goal now is to see if I can make a profit from selling stuff online. Sigh.....
As for the popularity aspect, I think you'd have to be killer at drawing/ or draw too much fan art/ or be extremely active on the site. I'm afraid that I've only fulfilled one of that criteria a.k.a fan art.

Oh, you heard I was a great NaruSaku fan did you? xD your boys are so pretty though, I'm tempted to ask you for lineart so I or umm xD ~PandaRosi can colour it for you either digitally or with copics just to see what your style would look like combined with digital or copic colouring. Can I pick a scene? Or prod you in a direction that I think you could do fantastically?
:'D if you want to sell stuff well.. my advice is fanart, submit it to clubs to get more favs/attention, get better whilst you practice the fanart then introduce whatever you want into it. I love your art, I really really do. You're three - four? xD years younger than I am, you have time to improve. A lot of DA popularity is made by sucking up to certain people as well... I'd suggest go for fanart for the publicity and work it from there.
In a few years time I'd buy prints from you, no questions asked!

Incredible detail, the gradient also makes it look more like an etching. Given that I don't know who this character is, it's still awsomely done. Kudos!

Thank you! In truth, it started out as a scrap in my notebook, but seeing as how I slowly began to find him too cute, I decided, the hell with it, and did weird stuff with it. X3
His name is Akito, from Air Gear for your information, and is one of the most lovable characters in the series.
