of course! yeah I already knew after reading the interview. one of the reasons I love them so much! but even if it wasn't canon, I still would've shipped it really hard. it's like my second biggest otp so it's just a rad bonus to hear them actually being a thing.

I really hope to create some characters like that if I get greenlit for a comic or something of the sort. Hidden or whatever. But for sure, I'm going to take a page from the awesome gals who created Lumberjanes. It's such a breath of fresh air in comics, both story wise and character wise.

ah yeah! idk if it's the feeling of wanting to go outdoors or just whole storyline, but lumberjanes just sorta drags me into another world. a lot of my friends/family don't really see it in the comic, but i do! i love the character like i would my children (if i had any) and the with excitement and personalities of each of them, i can't help but get really ecstatic myself! i do wish there would be some sort of outside continuation, but as long as if they end with a bang, nothing can make me happier!

and about your aspirations for a comic, i wish you the best of luck! let me know if when you do get greenlit someday. i'll be one of your first fans. owo

Well, I was just at Comikaze this weekend and some of the Boom Studios staff old me that the series has been greenlit for more than just eight issues! Sadly, none of the creators were there to sign the comics. Still, it's awesome that we get more issues! I also hope they bring in more of the background characters, like that one girl from issue six that was "kidnapped" during the game.

Thanks! Can't say whenever that will happen, but I'm not going to stop writing (even if right now I mostly do MLP fan-fiction). But hey, Rebecca Sugar had to take her time to get to Steven Universe!

background characters would be very nice! i was talking to another deviant and they thought it'd be fun to see the characters have evil foils! (like how the kanker sisters are the arch-nemeses of ed, edd, and eddy?) and very true. anything can happen in the comic and cartoon industry! also, i did pretty much the same trick-or-treating for halloween. saw annabelle at a friend's house afterwards. quite a few jump scares but the lack of the psychological stuff made it not scary enough for me to have a hard time sleeping at night. owo

Foils, huh? I wouldn't mind seeing 'nega-versions' of the Lumberjanes xD But specific developed characters would be really cool.

And true, especially seeing what Rebecca Sugar has been doing with Steven Universe, both the show and the comic.

What/Who did you dress up as?

As for me, I went to Comikaze as Steven Universe. Got some awesome photos and as well as some awesome stuff. It felt good to cosplay after so long, especially as a character that people really seemed to love. I got some photos to share if you're interested.
