Description
My gift for ~the-rotten1 from =ZhouTaisDayOff 's Christmas art exchange. I got a Solid Snake sketch in return which was pretty cool.
Apologies to Saiyuki fans if there are any glaring inaccuracies with the characters. I've only seen and read a bit of the series and that was a while ago.

Gosh, it's always impressive to see how some artists can color their hair in celshading style.
That's something I'll never manage in my entire life (especially not with Goku's). XD

Thank you very much! I still feel a bit shakey with hair colouring so it's good to see that I'm getting somewhere.
You shouldn't be so hard on yourself though, I've had a look through your work and your colouring is really cool! If you wanted to give this way a try, I just used separate layers for the shadows and highlights and tidied/ sharpened them up with the eraser.
