Mermaid Lagoon in my style... which turns out to be a cross between Disney and Dr. Suess by the looks of it- who knew?May add the Mermaids in if anyone asks me to, otherwise I guess it'll just be a scene.
First real attempt at scenery- took forever, and got kinda boring- but I guess I should get used to it if I want to go into animation.
Mostly all me, but I got a little too bored and cheated with some lovely brushes from *redheadstock and ~Falln-Brushes

Ah, Im studying animation and we have started background and scenery work too =.= I am terrible at it but I love looking at other peoples work. This is really good the colours and the rocks look like fish scales ^.^

And personally use Photoshop. Occasionally I ink in an animation program called "Toon Boom", but I still color even these in photoshop

well if you look through my gallery there s a picture called ladybug cover. My story is about a woman who escapes death and in return becomes a hero for all when the world is being drained of color.

Love the premise, and the character design is very nice- she reminds me of Catwoman, a favorite of mine.

Thank you so much, coming from an AHHH- mazinggg artist(you). Yeah, it was slightly influenced by catwoman. I smooshed all the female actors I liked and their looks into one. Charlize theron, jessica simpson and the major one... Audrey hepburn. I know your questioning Jessica simpson and Audrey hepburn??? Believe me...their in her. haha and I wanted her to look fierce yet not too seductive. Sleek yet noooo leather. haha

Haha, thanks! Its on the to-do list... I've got about a half dozen half-done pieces right now, waiting for classes to get out so I can stop freaking out about everything finals wise and get back to doing my own thing.

Gorgeous! Wow, brush seem to be a really good idea..they add a lot to a picture, and make it a lot easier on the artist since texture would be a huge pain to do by hand >.<
