This image is so warm and sunny; it reminds me of snuggling under the covers while sunrise creeps through the window! Lovely and evocative!

The natural light being diffused through the tulips petals is the real star here (I always try to use natural light, you can't beat the real thing)

I hadn't anticipated the warmth and comfort that you describe so well, particularly in a white flower. When I get some time it would be nice to try a similar type of set up to see if that same kind of warmth can be recreated or more likely I'll find out that it was a fluke

Of the four shots that I've posted of this tulip, this was the one that I couldn't decide if I liked it or not. It was only when I cropped it like this that I was at least happy to post it and let others decide what they think
