yes, in flame of recca, kurei was forced to be emotionless, his guardian has planted a bomb in him. while he fell in love with kureinai. Kureis guardian killed the girl. in yu-gi-oh, Pegasus lost his bride at the moment of his wedding! an unknown magician promised him to revive her bride in exchange of the hero's power. In curious play, nakago's girl also got died in a battle and he was so desperate. Poor villains..............
