"It is what it is. We'll figure something out I guess. We always do." he sighed as he hung up. Feeling slightly annoyed.

With a shake of his head, Landon looked across the desk at his wife. The disappointed look on her face told him she already knew what was said on the phone. The show they had been planning to attend for weeks now had been abruptly canceled.

"I'm sorry babe, we're just going to have to find something else for the end of July." he frowned.
"But that's in less than 2 weeks!"
"We better start checking the books then, huh?" he was already opening his email browser.

They hadn't even had time to read the first email when Jordan came barging through the office door.
"Too bad you guys already made plans for the end of the month. This looks super exciting!" she said as she laid a flyer down in front of them.

The grins on their faces stretched a mile long.
"OH MY GOD! THIS IS PERFECT!" Kaylie jumped with joy out of her seat. "Finally! Oh it has been so long....."
"Definitely too long" Jordan agreed. "Dunny's tired of being the stable's only peafowl. Its about time he gets some company of his own kind. This could be our chance!"
"And we'll finally get to see Griffin in person! Oh this is so amazing! We must go babe!"

Landon looked at his wife and sister. He could not agree with them more if he tried. This was absolutely perfect. As if on queue he heard the ping of his email. It was from Rebel. Attached was the same flyer he had just read.

"I better be seeing you there Mr. Potter "

He stood and smiled as he kissed his wife's forehead. "Looks like we're going to the parade!"
