The way the colors interact in this piece is just fantastic. It's a bright fractal but there's a ton of subtle variation and contrast there... masterfully done.
May I ask what formulas you used... and whether they're available to the public?

Thanks for the comments ! Actually, except one or two exceptions, all my images since 2002 have been created with private evolutions of SFBMII. But I think that the image above could have been made with SFBMII... Choose soft squares as a noise function, random phase as flavour 1 and strings as flavour 2, you will see something vaguely similar.
