Description
Illustration done for a contest organized by the french site PokΓ©bip.The theme was to create an hybrid with a pokemon and a creature/character from an other video game. I choose to mix Hydreigon with a Azure Rathalos from Monster Hunter.

Every thing about this is impeccable. Β On the Poke' side of things; Hydreigon as "full Pokemon" looked fearsome enough, but this looks like a kind of creature that could appear in a horror show! Β This is my favorite of all the realistic-Mons I've seen from you so far. Β The attention to detail on the Hydreigon is phenomenal; The three heads, the tail, the spikes on the wings, the textured skin and scales, and the blue/black/purple highlights are especially amazing. Β I.. actually ended up listing everything, and that's because I do love all of these qualities.
I cannot forget the awesomeness of the fusion with Azure Rathalos, I think it's almost as if it and Hydreigon were secretly meant to be. Β I also like the scene-setting rainstorm and the human, which identifies just how huge and menacing this hybrid really is. Β You also put in so much effort in the scenic backdrop and the clouds, you but effort into every freaking facet of this, I can tell. Β This deviation is going into my highly-selective favorites folder for the "Best of dA." Β It's one of the best Pokemon/Monster Hunter/monster in general that I've seen on the site. Β Stupendous job!
