I just love Jaune's complex expression. I feel like you somehow can tell he's in pain, being with his old friends despite losing them over and over. It's something with the eyebrows I think.

Sorry, I was clearly just coming here after hearing about the story from a RWBY fan group on Facebook and made an instant reaction. I mean, I haven't read the story and I don't doubt it's good, but Ruby's my favourite character and she was replaced. That's simply why I came here. Well, that, and for the LOLs, but sorry if it sounded like a review. It's really, completely, a full forced comedic false reaction.

Fair enough, but I must say, is not a forced comedic! Thou' you are right and the fact that Jaune replaces Ruby is a point of scorn in the story the author do it on purpose both to illustrate that she was the heart of the time on the original timeline and to showcase a butterfly effect where a lot of things fall down just because she isn't there.
Now, I'm not telling you to read it, frankly speaking I wasn't eager at first, but Coeur is a semi professional writer and he puts a lot of heart on his work, he deserves at least a critic based on the real story (like *cough* how much a pussy *cough* Jaune is at first *cough*)

I am SO SORRY for not getting back to this comment sooner (btw, I think it's just the typical "RWBY" group or "RWBY Nation"). Well, I just came to say that comment, cause Ruby is my favourite character, but I wasn't mad. I just wanted to comment. Either way though, I agree and understand that people can make their own worlds or world changes as a creative idea on their own and I won't stifle with that. And, you know what, I might read it in my spare time now, now that you said he's, "a semi professional writer and he puts a lot of heart on his work". So, yeah. Kinda glad for the technical recommendation.
