That is Yahshua, which means Yahweh is Salvation, it simply is the correct name, God is a title

(Yéshu'a). -Glad somone else is jealous for technicalities like me!
-Speaking which (forgive me in advance)-
There is no basis among the evidence for a 'Yahshua' pronounciation. ince ancient Hebrew had no vowels, we just kind of have to accept the Masoretic pronounciation of it. There is Yehoshu'a, if maybe that's what you were thinking. The James Ossuary which has been in dispute as to authenticity lately but came off being deemed authentic has the name spelled Y-SH-W-', and if it is the actual bone box of the brother of Jesus as it says (James [Jacob] son of Joseph, Brother of Jesus), then I guess that's it as to how it was originally spelled by Jesus and his contemporaries. Pretty intriguing stuff...

I agree regarding the pronounciation, and yes this was my line of thought, I have learned alot in my studies with the hebrew language. What I don't understand is the translated use of these names, as you mentioned with vowels, the Hebrew language does not contain the letter J, a letter only dating back 400 years of age. So why is it used, more so the names God, Lord have been and always will be titles, God is of German descent, lord is a title. It shouldn't be just a technicality is my line of thought. Ever since I read John 5:43 "I come in my fathers name"
These names have always made clear direct connection. That of God and Jesus have no relation due to the historical origin.
I have my fathers last name, my older brother's name is my fathers. Your name and everyone's name is of our fathers being last name of first, it's all related. I dont intend to dispute nor argue, I am just explaining my belief and opinion you know.

I can see you aren'ta passive thinker on this matter! Cool!
You speak the truth! God and Lord indeed, mere titles, and appear far fewer times than Jehovah/Yahweh in the original ext of the Bible. It irritates me that people are either ignorant of this or go out of their way to deny it or downplay its significance, and I get the feeling it irritates you, because you seem to actually value fact over fiction. It's good to find such ones!
A for 'J', every student of the Bible well knows that God's name was never anciently pronounced with a 'J' OR a 'V' for that matter. All it is is common English pronounciation. Anywhere ya see a 'J' in an English Bible is where a 'Y' appears, and 'W' for the 'V'.
Wha do you think of this line of thought:
Around 300 BCE the Jews took it upon themselves to make the first translation of the scriptures into Greek because ore and more were speaking that after Alexander spread Greek culture everywhere, and their translation is called the Septuagint, and it predates the Dead Sea Scrolls. Now some Muslims tell me that you MUST read the Qur'an in Arabic; you cannot grasp the word of Allah unless it's in its original Arabic. am not Muslim. But if that's how God really views things....
Would he have allowed this Septuagint to become so widely used? It's absolutely clear that when the Apostles quote from the Old Testament, they frequently quote from the Septuagint, which sometimes has different wording, for example at Exodus 12:40 most Bibles say the 'dwelling of the Israelites who had dwelt in Egypt was 430 years' but the Sptuagint says 'who had dwelt in CANAAN and Egypt', showing that they weren't in Egypt that entire time.
Anyways..
I guess I just wonder what you think on the issue of these things being kept in their original languages.

Not scared to admit it, it's just he's never referred to as Yahweh. He considered Yahweh to be his God and Father, know what I mean? "I am ascending to my Father and your Father to my God and your God" he said to his diciples. So while I think this is a good work of art (though stereotypical for better or worse), I rather resent the pseudonymical nature of it. -No offence to he artist.
