TENDERIZED
So, human souls, used as a currency? Must be having a market crash, folks don't go in for those Egyptian gods these days. Haven't you heard? Satan is in vogue!
In all seriousness, this is actually reminding me a lot of a game I played called Valdis Story, which was about two jackass gods who were trying to gather all the human souls they could in order to usurp each other. Now I'm re imagining them as investment bankers.

The economy's not great. I would advise you to look closely at the news reports.
I've never heard of Valdis Story, sounds like old American folktales about the Devil betting against God.

What, who looks at news reports
It's all sensationalism anyway every other day the market is crashing or the sun is splitting into six-
Okay maybe ownership disputes are a bit more important when it regards divinity.
On an unrelated note: If bus fare is measurable by a big jar with sinners' souls in it, imagine how much it would be to purchase, like, anything large. Just WHEELBARROWS of souls.
Valdis Story is an awesome metroidvania combat game that I highly recommend looking into! DO IT SABE IT'LL BE COOL
