Man there's some god diversity going on here. It'd be very amusing to see some of these guys try to drink. Like that bartender with the floating head and no visible mouth!
Hey Isis that's rude Β Due to the failing economy he had to sell all the chairs on his yacht. Now he has to stand on it. Show a little compassion!

to be honest, i don't know. There are certainly tiger gods, but i could not find one who walked upright. Still, i like them.

I was just curious because their design is so cool! Seems like we likely won't see more of them if they aren't based on anyone of importance, though. Alas, alas.

True, although i'm glad you like their "design." Ha, i'm afraid that's just how i draw a tiger.

Then I guess you just draw tigers coolly, haha.Β
Is the bartender based on any particular god?Β

You'll get a better look at him on the next page. Given that i find Mayan and Aztec art very difficult to interpret, (it often is full of letters and visual metaphor, to my knowledge, some of which we don't even have translated) what you see is a jokey, VERY literal reference toΒ Ometotchtli , or two-rabbit, of the five rabbit brothers.
