Description This here is the famous Triceratops. It was the common grazer of the Late Cretaceous Period and a favorite prey of Tyrannosaurus rex. Still it never went down without a fight, It had the three horns on its face (hence the meaning of the name, three-horned face) and its frill on its head that were used either for combat, dominance, or a sexual attraction for mates.

It was at the Dinosaur Safari, at the Bronx Zoo, in New York City (the Big Apple). It was during the summers of 2013 and 2014, which was last year, from May to November. Hopefully, it will come around there again this year. And thanks!
