Depite everything that has been going on in Heylguard, Perdita has a lot to be thankful for. But the thing she has been thankful for the longest has to be her father, Azal. Despite Perdita not being anywhere near what a proper Altsoba wolf should be, Azal recognized how she was still useful and gifted. In fact, he saw a lot of himself in her, and was one of the few wolves that encouraged her curiousity and independence, greatly shaping her into who she is now. However, Azal was getting up there in age when Perdita was born, and sadly passed away when she was around 3 years old. It broke Perdy's heart when he passed, and to this day often dreams about when she was young, and they'd be out together so long that Azal would carry her back on his shoulders.
