With all the other guilty sisters now temporarily gone, Lucy's left alone for six months with a still-bitter and very hesitant Lincoln and a still-innocent Lily with no one and nothing else behind her except the very-stressed unconditional love of parents. But you know, lately it seems like reconciliation is possible, even probable -- even though she knows she doesn't deserve to be forgiven, actions do speak louder than words. So what could possibly derail all this sentimental bond-mending?

Why not a big shadowy dose of major depression and toxic guilt! Thick, overwhelming, and sludgy self-hatred and a crippling inability to forgive one's self no matter the progress elsewhere.
