Description Well, my frog isn't puking or somethings like that.
Hylomantis lemur belongs to the Group Phyllomedusinae, what means that he's arboreal (living in the trees) and lays his eggs on leafs over the water.
Due to this live he needs to be adapted to a partly very hot and dry environment...the canopee.

So some hylid frogs have developed a technique to prevent drying out. The produce a liquid on their skin to decrease their transpiration. This liquid is then whiped over their body.
Prepared like this they are ready to sleep during daylight under a leaf.

If they are awakening, they gasp and stretch their body to remove this liquid film. Now they are fresh and ready again to go and hunt for some ants oder crickets
