It's like putting a body kit on a '40s roadster.  Stupid, uninspired and ultimately detracting from the overall value of the vehicle.  And far too many use them as a stand-in for actual class and attractiveness.

My feelings DO matter.  Tattoos don't make you pretty, they don't make you special and they don't make you interesting.

But why. Its her body, her temple. It is her choice to decorate herself.

I dont judge someone because they have dyed hair= There body, there choices.

Your body may be your temple, but your temple is going to have visitors and sightseers so don't you think you should keep it nice and clean for them?

Commitments are choices we make to enrich our lives. A tattoo is such a thing. Tattoos are a visual medium, not scribbles on a body that hold no purpose.  These beautiful pieces of art work open up a way to my soul for everyone to see and enjoy.  There body, there choice. If its not your skin, it is not your business. You don't enjoy them? Then don't get them. But it doesn't matter, if you didn't like there look, you should accept its there choice, and just listen to what there message is.

THEIR message?

There is no message.
It's not like hanging a photograph or a painting in your living room.  You have regrets about it, you're stuck for life.
Not to mention there are a plethora of negative connotations--more than one large company requires its employees to keep any tattoos they have covered.  And it might be a person's choice to get a tattoo but once you've made that choice it then becomes everyone else's problem.  It's exhibitionism without the associated nudity.

But to reiterate, tattoos don't send a message unless you're a) a tribal or b) in a gang.  Everyone else is just doing something stupid because it's the popular thing to do.
