Edit (12/15/15): Updated to the new application! Oooh, sparkly //touchAs soon as I saw The-Pokemon-DWMA was rebooting, I had to jump on the character creation bandwagon because nostalgia and feels omg <333 Wallace is dragged out of the corner and dusted off with a slight design update, ready to slay all the kishin aw yee! Not really sure how I feel about this art but it's like whatevs I suppose.

Attention to detail is important to Wallace, and his wardrobe reflects this despite his relaxed manner. He can be a bit idealistic at times, however, and sometimes his optimism and genuine personality is rooted in naïveté towards his perception of others and the world around him. He can be a pushover around friends and may sacrifice his own interests as a result. Despite this, Wallace holds a strong sense of morals and shouldn't be mistaken for passive if you directly challenge him. He has lofty aspirations for the future and always tries to maintain a positive attitude, believing that the first step to success starts with your own outlook.
Backstory:Wallace was born into a well-off family residing in Manhattan, New York. The middle child of three, Wallace and his siblings were raised with a proper education and plenty of free-reign due to his parents' time-consuming white-collar jobs. He and his siblings were particularly close as a result, and the eldest, Lily, often took on a mothering role for Wallace and their younger brother Flint. She always made time for the two boys even with her busy schedule, which was filled with academics, clubs, and other after-school activities thanks to the fact that she was six years older than Wallace (and eight years older than Flint). Lily would often take the two boys out of the apartment when she had the time, bringing them to the park, movies, or out to eat.
On one such occasion, Lily decided to take them out to watch a fireworks display that was being held in a nearby park. At the time, she was a Roserade and a high school senior; Wallace was a sixth-grade Roselia; and Flint (a Shroomish) was just a fourth grader. Due to the fact that their parents were working late that night, the children went out alone, leaving a note to inform their mother and father of their whereabouts. The trio took a supposed "shortcut" that Flint had heard about from one of his friends at school that would allow them to arrive early and get a good view of the show. However, instead of being the brightly lit and much-trafficked area that they were informed of, they unwittingly entered the darker side of the borough. Just as Wallace was about to suggest that they leave for a safer route, a Ferrothorn cornered the trio in an alleyway. Before any of them could react, the Ferrothorn's arms appeared to transform before their eyes into a spiked flail. The Pokémon had a nasty glint in its eye as it lunged at Flint with abnormal speed, looking almost feral as it pinned the terrified and screaming boy to the ground.
Wallace was practically scared stiff, not able to comprehend what was happening in front of him. Lily, however, was not so easily frightened. Instead, she began to glow before appearing to change shape in all under a second, taking on the form of a long and slender rapier. She fell into Wallace's unexpecting hands, where he nearly dropped her in confusion and fright. He had heard stories of people who were able to transform into weapons, but he had always dismissed them as just that—stories. Lily wasn't as unresponsive as her immobilized brother, and loudly instructed him to attack the Ferrothorn. Almost acting unconsciously, Wallace did as he was told, slashing and jabbing at the crazed Ferrothorn before it could hurt Flint. By the end of it Wallace was covered in numerous nicks and cuts and was so shaken up he was nearly in tears. The enemy Pokemon seemed to finally explode, leaving only a glowing red orb in its wake. His sister suddenly glowed again, changing back into her old self as if it was normal. Wallace could only stare as she ate the orb, looking almost unaffected as she checked over Flint after.
In time, Wallace learned from his sister that the private "dance" classes that she had attended since the age of ten were actually training sessions with a partner she referred to as a "Meister." The "orb" she had consumed was actually the soul of a Kishin, and it was necessary for her to eat 99 of them (plus a witch's soul) in order for her to become an ultimate weapon, or Death Scythe. Apparently, her parents had been well-aware of her abilities and were waiting to see if Wallace and Flint displayed similar traits. Being able to effectively wield his sister in her sword form confirmed them of Wallace's potential as a Meister, and they decided that once he finished regular schooling they would send him to DWMA in Death City, Nevada so that he could fully develop his potential as a Meister.
After attending the DWMA for some months, Wallace found a new partnership with his longtime friend Ray Johnson after Beny took a leave of absence from the DWMA. Although ill-equipped to wield melee weapons and unfamiliar with close-quarters combat, Wallace believes that Ray will be able to coach him through it and hopes to adapt to using a weapon in the form of a large hammer. It's hammer time.
Moveset:Energy Ball: Wallace brings his hands together and increases his focus, allowing a small ball of compressed soul energy to begin growing. The stronger he is feeling determines the effectiveness and strength of the attack, but typically the energy looks and feels like an average bowling ball in terms of size. Wallace can wield it effortlessly, and it will increase in size if he is angered or very focused. If he is weak or emotionally stressed, the attack is smaller and less powerful. Someone with the same soul wavelength as Wallace may also be able to render the attack completely useless.
Synthesis: Wallace closes his eyes and focuses, allowing himself to tap into the atmosphere around him. This lets him heal wounds inflicted upon himself and others by means of a manner similar to photosynthesis in plants. Depending on the weather, the move varies in efficiency. The sunnier it is, the easier and quicker he is able to mend wounds. In frigid or extremely dark areas the attack is highly ineffective, taking more energy than it's worth and making it almost more of a hindrance.
Poison Jab: Wallace is capable of generating strong toxins in his fingers thanks to his Poison Point ability, which is normally nullified by the special white gloves he wears. By taking them off, however, he can attack foes in hand-to-hand combat with the advantages of this acute poison. Typically this is only used as a last-resort if he is rendered without a weapon or he cannot participate in ranged combat due to the fact that close-quarters fighting is not his strong suit.
Double Team: Wallace utilizes his agility to his advantage, closing his eyes to focus and make illusionary copies of himself. The copies take a generous amount of stamina to upkeep and can be easily dissipated if struck hard enough, but they are capable of behaving, attacking, and looking just like Wallace. They will reflect exactly the condition that Wallace is in when he casts them, meaning they transfer any physical appearance traits that he possesses (including attire or potential injuries) as well as his stamina and energy reserves.

Extra: - Wallace stands rather short at 5'6"
- He has a small dagger that he carries on his person at all times; he feels vulnerable without it
- He has a habit of addressing others with the pet name "love" (even if he's only just met them)
- He wears cuff links on his shirt; they are colored red and blue respectively (like a Roserade's flowers)
- When he was younger, Wallace liked to pretend that he was Sherlock Holmes and would run around trying to "deduce" everyone/everything
- He's semi-inspired by Wallace Wells from the Scott Pilgrim series and a Roserade named Wallace from one of my Platinum runs circa 2010
- Wallace's hands are the color of a normal Roserade's, but he secretes a toxic poison from his fingertips thanks to his ability Poison Point. In order to nullify this, he wears a special pair of white gloves that contains an antidote.
- He has minimal experience with hand-to-hand combat (he took sparring in middle school when he was still trying to see if he was better in ranged or mele combat. Needless to say both he and his parents thought he was better ranged)
