Description
As I play with pastels, I try different things to better see what the medium can do. Here I tried color blending and shape forming. I was only partially successful.

But I learned another important thing. To try interactions between things I work with before I get too deep. I draw this, used ink and paintbrush to make the black background, smoothed borders of the shapes with ink pen and than used fixative on the whole. And while ink was alright, the ink pen blotched. Well, another cheap lesson for me: try everything first. Fortunately it's only sketches and it was actually mostly reparable.
