The half-demon Adrael, for use as an NPC in . Like the host, she is out to cause chaos and confusion, but she has a heavenly mandate to do so.
She is at the tournament with her brother to make sure that the deaths and defeats are handled correctly.

Name: Adrael

Age: Appears to be 25 human years

Height and weight: 5'4"; 108

Body type: Lean muscles with a compact, curvy figure.

Hair: Dark brown, nearly black towards the front, put up into a messy bun

Tattoos/scars: Quarter-sized Celtic knot on the base of her thumb, near the heel of her hand. Line of small dots down her spine

Other: Six wings, topmost are the largest, with a six foot wingspan, and black; the next are soft
grey with a three foot wingspan; and the third, near the small of her back, are white and each wing is about a hand’s breadth. Silver ring on her right middle finger.

Preferred outfits: Leather halter top, secured with fine chains around her back and set between her wings, and Roman gladiator-style kilts over leggings. She goes barefoot whenever possible. When shoes are necessary, she’ll wear flats.

Background: Adrael is the daughter of Samael and one of the Harab Serapel, which are “ravens of death that reject even their own.” They are raven-headed demons whose various attributes include desire, greed, lack of self-control, and uncontrolled passion. She was raised in Samael’s household, and was partially raised by his wives, three of the more powerful succubi. While Adrael not categorically a succubus her upbringing and heritage makes her more sexually and emotionally volatile than other angels, especially ones of death. Although she is much younger than her half-brother, Azrael, they developed a close, if often trying, bond. When they were young, she dogged his footsteps as much as was allowed, but a demonic child was not favorable, and she was often shunted to the side. She grew up in Azrael’s shadow, unable to rise in the ranks because she was deemed untrustworthy, despite vouches from Samael.

Natural form: Her body is composed of a flock of ravens, and thus, her outline is inconstant. Wings, beaks, claws, or various other body parts are visible for an instant before being replaced by another part. She has a raven’s head, and red eyes without pupils, and the gradient of her wings is replaced with black.

Powers: Because of her prestigious father, Adrael’s powers are more potent than a typical demon. She
has the ability to lengthen or shorten a person’s life, staving off death for as long as she sees fit. Rarely does she cut a life’s thread, instead will shorten the lifespan to bring them closer to death. When a sudden death is needed, she uses a gilt, bone knife to cut it—purely on ceremony. She is technically not supposed to directly cause death, but one human life now and again is scarcely worth worrying about. Due to the opposite nature of her brother, she is the embodiment of life’s chaos.

Will: She is stubborn once she puts her mind to it, but is easily swayed into action. She is more likely to resort to violence or taunting than to debate.

General Personality: She is quick to act, determined, impulsive, and daring. For all her flightiness, she is extremely intelligent, and can be calculating when she desires. She will often plunge into something without a plan, but will think on her feet and use her intelligence and unpredictability to overcome whatever obstacle is in her way.

Maturity: Adrael’s impulsive nature should not be taken as childishness, nor should her fickle humor. She is doesn’t have the restraint of her brother, or even some humans, and thus can be considered less mature.

Relationship status: Single, but not opposed to relationships

Values: Adrael is proud, of both herself and her family, and personal insults will not be dealt with lightly. Though she is not technically allowed to kill members of the Tournament of Rings, she will do whatever is in her power to make their life a hell.

Social standing: Low-ranking, powerful angel, sent to Tournament of Rings to oversee the deaths.

Quirks and Mannerisms: When not actively engaged in something, Adrael will subconsciously move her fingers as if tying or loosing knots. While she does not necessarily need the physical motion to complete her duty, the exception being particularly tumultuous lives that need constant attention, the movements are habitual and unavoidable.

When Angry: Either outright kill you, or fight bodily. Typically the latter, because of the consequences she would face from killing everyone who angered her.

Likes: Disorder and confusion, questions, wars, teasing Azrael

Dislikes: Being forced to sit and watch without immediate outcomes; disrespect towards her family or herself.
