I love the way the pants fit around his haunches! And his hoof fingers are awesome. XD Such great visual planes on his face. Even though he's flat-colored, his face has a lot of volume

I'm quite envious of your wonderfully fluid lineart; do you draw these directly on the computer or do you make a sketch on paper?

As for my method, I do just about everything digitally- from the sketch to the lineart...so there you go XD! I've experimented with the pen tool in photoshop and flash, but nothing quite works as well (for me) than to just hand-draw the inking via tablet or cintiq.
That said, I don't ink a whole lot so my control over lineweight/variation/etc. is is only kinda so-so, but I'm hoping to get better! : ) I'm glad you like it so far though.

I think I'm kinda impaired when it comes to getting the lineart to look good doing it with a tablet
