Description /dramatic title

Commission for , of her character Ieaseallie! Except for a few mistakes, I think I did pretty well on this one. Oh, and the wings look like they're made of humorous vegetables. I bet when I look back on this a couple years later, I'll be like, how did I do so badly on the anatomy?

Btw, rashan, do you want me to mail the original/a copy to you? I'd rather not the original, if it matters to you, because I'm very attached to my art, and since this is done with pastel, it smudges easily.

I think the only crit that I could give you would be to keep drawing and practasing, because you have talent, but the things that you need to practice on will natrually happen through trial and error. So keep up the good work

Hey, not bad, the colouring is very good though.

One thing which you may have noticed already but the tummy feels a bit high.

Yeah, the shape of his torso should be a bit more.. blocky, too. :/ Oh well, every guy's body is different....

Good point, guys tend to look blockier, more rugged than girls. You may have suggested him more as a girl than as a guy. But in saying this, I still like the work because the final piece is still lovely to look at and the person you made it for is satisfied, so I think the piece is a success.

I can't even begin to describe how incredible this is... I...just, Wow.

The Colors are so beautiful...

I think his wings look more like they're made of smooth stone... They're very lovely.

I ADORE his skin tone. O_O The blue green hue is perfect, since he is suppossed to be more 'dead'.

It's really perfect... Everything about it is wonderfull.. I wish I could really convey my feelings about it.

The line weighting is incredible... His expression, and the light in his eyes...is... perfect. Amazingly so.

I LOVE his pants. XD The shading is so fun.

His eyes are a LITTLE dark...but for some reason it still fits... and Doesn't really bother me.

The black rose is also beautiful, and very fitting.

His gloves are PERFECT. They look soft and silky, just like they should.

This really is perfect.... I mean, I liked the line art....but with the color, it's just... Magnificent.
The soft background is wonderful, and the highlights are perfect.
The overall feeling is just... PERFECT.

I could blather on, but I think I'm just slowly loosing my intelligence looking at it. So the comments would just continue to get worse. *laughs*

And kind of thought that was what I was paying for...

I know what It's like to be SO attatched to your art... I HATE giving away art, even when I draw it 'for' someone specifically.

Well, I don't see what's wrong with the anatomy, but then, I guess I'm not so good at noticing these things.

The only things that bother me are the "humorous vegetable" feathers. They just seem a bit too... rounded. But, you did a marvelous job with your copics (as always) and the pant wrinkles look perfect.

Lol, I did little to no research on actual wings.. and if you look at art, most of the wings aren't realistic either :/ I kind of liked it, and I had an interesting sort of layering of color going on (which took time, but it went something like this.. C2, BV23, C4, C6, C8, B000, G00)

That's true. Artists express their wings in many ways; these still make me think of eggplants or something. But that's just me, and I've paid lots of attention to feathers because I hope to cosplay as someone with wings in the future, so... *shrug*

Wow. I don't even know those color code things, but it sounds complicated, so I'm not surprised it took you 10+ hours to create this. I still love it. Is the person you commissioned it for happy?

Ohgosh. Yes. Parents sometimes criticize me when I show them art, and it kind of just... discourages me. (if that's what you mean, at least )

Ah. Well, my parents would probably think the same thing. And I think commissions are a good way to make people happy, and with your skill, they're a way to make money, too. Even though it's good to work on art, too, commissions should probably come first, since they're expected and all.
